This essential step in the garment manufacturing process transforms your approved garment concepts into precise, technical sketches. Each garment sketch is rendered in Adobe Illustrator with a black outline and white fill, showcasing the garment laid flat with front and back views, detailing your garment’s construction.

These non-artistic sketches are indispensable tools for communicating with garment manufacturers so that your vision is translated into reality with increased accuracy. These sketches provide a standardized visual guide that clarifies all construction details, reducing the likelihood of costly misunderstandings.

As we finalize the sketches, we will add color to offer a preview of various colorways. This enables you to strategically plan and assort your activewear line so that every piece aligns perfectly with your brand's aesthetic and collection goals.

The Process

Step 1: Access to Your Personalized Project Client Portal

Begin your design journey with exclusive access to your personalized client portal. This platform organizes your entire project in one centralized place, enhancing communication and providing timeline and milestone trackers for clear visibility of your project’s progress. All project files will be available here for easy download.

Step 2: Share Your Individual Garment Design Concept

Before starting the technical flat sketch, you’ll need to provide your approved individual garment design concept

Step 3: Begin Technical Flat Sketching

Once the individual garment design concept is finalized and approved, I will begin creating your technical flat sketch using Adobe Illustrator.

Step 5: Technical Flat Sketch Approval and Colorways

After approving the final technical flat sketch, I will fill your sketch with up to 6 color options, helping you visualize your design in various colorways. This allows you to easily plan and assort your line with confidence.

Step 4: Review and Refine the Technical Flat Sketch

You will receive the technical flat sketch for review, where you can provide feedback for any enhancements or refinements needed to align with your vision.
