Trend-Driven, Women’s Functional Sportswear
Project Overview:
ARYA Athleisure, a Chicago-based brand, sought a thoughtfully designed capsule collection that blends functionality with modern, trend-forward aesthetics. Created for women navigating an active, urban lifestyle, this collection supports workouts like CrossFit and Pilates while maintaining an elevated, fashion-forward appeal.
The challenge was to develop pieces that seamlessly transition from fitness to streetwear, ensuring versatility, comfort, and luxury-quality construction. To meet these goals, the collection was crafted using performance-driven, sustainable materials and modern silhouettes, reflecting the refined, upscale nature of Arya’s brand.
Design Approach:
The collection features two distinct matching sets and a versatile windbreaker, each designed for functionality and style.
The Performance Activewear Set includes an asymmetrical-cutout sports bra and coordinating crop top with strappy details, built-in shelf bras, and removable cups for support. Paired with high-waisted leggings in 82% recycled polyester, 18% elastane, this set offers four-way stretch, moisture-wicking, and ultra-breathable properties for high-intensity workouts.
The Athleisure Lounge Set features a cropped hoodie with a crossover back detail and front pockets, paired with ultra-soft, slouchy joggers in 100% French Terry cotton for post-workout comfort or casual wear.
To accommodate Chicago’s unpredictable weather, the collection also includes a lightweight windbreaker, designed as a stylish yet functional outer layer for city commutes.
Intentionally crafted with sustainability, luxury-quality construction, and versatility in mind, ARYA Athleisure’s collection is designed for women who seek high-performance activewear with boutique-level aesthetics.
